Monday Mischief: How Do You Plead?

I know it looks pretty tattered up, but this Sketchers Sandals was my favorite pair of shoes for more than 3 years. It's probably the reason why it looks so... over used.

Your shoesies are the best! Om-Nom,  Om-Nom, Om-Nom... Nom Nom Nom Nom.
Anyway, I finally decided to put this picture up. Peanuts just love chewing on it that I had to say "No" a couple of times before she eventually decided to give it up.

  1. LOL sounds about right! The one time I was ever truly mad at Nola was when she was 6mo old (and knew better) and she chewed up my favorite Converse sneakers

  3. I only chewed up Mommy's stuffed toys when I was little. I didn't like the taste of rubbery stuff, including shoes.

  5. Oh Peanuts who could believe you would do such a thing. You have such a sweet innocent face :-) My sister loved chewing shoes so much she got given a pair just for her to munch on! Woofs and licks from Magic xx

  6. Hey Peanuts, Jet here. I happen to know some qualified lawyers should you decide to pursue representation in this most unfair accusation!

  8. Peanuts,

That's such a great 'Not Guilty' / Innocent look!! I'd believe you any day!!

Just between you and me, I get Mum's shoe sometimes, but I'm careful not to actually chew it, I just lick it until she chases me!! Tee Hee

    Have fun,

    Your pal Snoopy :)

  10. Never plead guilty! LOL I like to lick my Mom's slippers until she can't wear them and has to put them in the wash....she doesn't seem to appreciate that very much.

  12. Mom used to let us have her old sneakers for chewies when we were all younger, but she always had to take them away once we started breaking them into small pieces - spoiling all our fun.

    Happy Mischievous Monday.

  15. Hi Y'all!

I bring shoes, I don't chew them. Confession time, when I was young I chewed the edge off the back of my Human's bedroom slipper.

    Y'all come by now,
    Hawk aka BrownDog

    P.S. I do Q and A tomorrow.

  17. Does she at least chew each show so that they still can be worn as a pair? When momma first took me to puppy class (like the minute I arrived at White Dog Ranch) my trainer told her Eskies needed 22 toys to keep from being destructive. Momma literally believed her and guess what, I NEVER have eaten a shoe...ever! Maybe Peanuts needs more toys.

  18. at least you had them for three years. i got a brand new pair of red toms for Christmas and yuki chewed a destroyed one of them before i even had a chance to wear them. :(

  19. Peanuts, it's not technically your fault if SOMEbody left the shoes lying about, right? ;)

Moosey loves chewing shoelaces ... mom and dad got tired of having to buy news ones all the time, so now they our sneakers go straight into the closet when we get home.

  20. Hmmm, 3 years old? Those shoes look better than Jan's walking shoes at 3 months of age. We were pretty good as puppies. We didn't chew much on shoes. We were perfect. Well, except for .... We won't go into that.
