Remember me posting about the two hour grooming session... Well, this cut took me four hours to finish- with breaks in between. Still, four hours for one little Shih-Tzu is like forever. With an extra slow clipper, a pair of scissors and an inexperienced groomer, I think I did okay.
You did a fine job! As long as Buchi wasn't stressed out, it doesn't matter how long it took. :)
ReplyDeleteHe wasn't. He actually had a great time getting groomed because Rin was with him all the time... and that's his center of attention.
DeleteI didn't clip him too long.. we had multiple breaks so he can stretch out and roam around.
Oh Buchi you are so cute - that's quite a haircut! It's much too cold here for such a cut - we'd all be in our jumpers BOL Magic xx
ReplyDeleteIt's completely the opposite, back where I live. I actually got sun burned that day- on my back- because the temperature reach 40+ degrees Celsius
Delete4 hrs of grooming!! But looks like a job well done! *mommy says she salutes you!* BOL

Thanks. We had a pretty slow clipper where we had to do repetitions to get the smooth finish and I did a tiny lion cut on the head... I need more practice though. ^_^
DeleteHaha, you tell 'em Buchi, a man's haircut is everything and you do look particularly dapper!
ReplyDeleteWe are sure Rin will succomb to your charms.

Unfortunately, Rin's particular with heights ^_^.
DeleteLooks good! Patience really is a virtue! LOL!
ReplyDeleteTotally agreed!

ReplyDeleteThanks again for the lovely comments on my blog xx :)
Fantastic...maybe a new career in the making? BOL!

You know, I'm actually truly... considering that. I've been reading about different grooming styles... but then... it's probably something I'll seriously do in another lifetime. LOL.
DeleteYou did a fine job and the breaks were a great idea...but at four hours, I say don't give up your REAL job! BOL!
ReplyDeleteGood thing I was on vacation
DeleteYou did an awesome job, I do ours too but they never look nearly that good!
ReplyDeleteMy first try... when Buchi was still 4 months old had been to die for- I mean figuratively... of embarrassment.
DeleteSorry it took so long, but we have to say ... Buchi looks FANTASTIC! :)
ReplyDeleteYou look amazing!!!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Teddy Bear & Sierra
I think you did a great job!!

It took so long but it was a great work i must say.
ReplyDelete4-5 hours is actually not uncommon at professional groom shops if you include bath and blow dry.
ReplyDeleteAww, he got shaved down so much. I'm glad you left his face in tact though.
ReplyDeleteYou did an awesome job. Just like if a groomer did it!!!!
You should teach my Mama your grooming tips so she can save money instead of sending me to groomers.
Aww, you did a good job. Looks like a professional did it. :)
ReplyDeleteWow that is one long haircut session....oh boy there must have been some coffee and doggie biscuit breaks to get through. I think you did one fine job and that should last awhile...I hope?!
ReplyDeleteAre you kidding me? You stayed still for four hours?
ReplyDeleteYou did a great job!
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
Woohoo!!
ReplyDeleteGreat job!! - I can't imagine being patient for 4 hours though, 2 is usually my limit!!
Have a fun day,
Your pal Snoopy :)
Four hours is a long time, it looks like you must have been good! You still have your ears and nose, Humphrey's old Groomer always say's its a good day when they still have ears!! BOL
