Laundry and Brother Dog's Reaction

I apologize for not being able to visit your blogs so often. I've officially taken a new role at home which includes playing nurse to the sickly, doing the dishes, cooking, cleaning and waking up every morning at 5 AM to open the door so my partner can come in (his shift is from 8 PM to 5 AM and we have double chain locks). All of this plus my doggy responsibilities.

So today, I've added one more chore in my list- doing all the laundry. As I carried the washing machine outside- situating it on top of the dogs' balcony, one particular being stands up and "THANKS" me.

INGRATE! Now, I'm having second thoughts of washing your beds.
You might be wondering why BD looks thin. That's because he won't eat dog food like the others. I have to feed him rice and viand from our meals.

And he's still not allowing me to pet him or hold him, which annoys me to death because I wouldn't be able to cure the nasty case of mange on his back.

  1. Oh BD you should eat your food - I can't believe it when dogs don't want their dinner. I would eat everything on offer :-) Give your Mum a break - she sounds as though she has so much to do keeping things going right now - peeps have lots of jobs which we dogs don't need to worry about - woofs and licks from Magic xx

  4. Come on BD, your Momma has enough on her plate right now so you'd better eat up so she won't have to stress over you.

  6. Mom so sympathizes with you over BD not eating his food. Phantom is the pickiest boy ever. Now that he is finally eating a bit of his gastrointestinal canned food, he will eat some of his kibble, but it is quite the challenge. C'mon, BD, eat and help lighten the load for you human. She sounds like she has way too much on her plate right now.

  15. Thanks for stopping by. We never have the not eating problem because our mom gives us half rations so we are always hungry (BOL).

  16. i havent blogged or stopped by many blogs as well. i'd like to have a good reason like you, but it was because i was reading a trilogy of books. i had my eyes glued until 4 am one day. since i finished it, im trying to be a better blogger now. will BD not eat canned dog food thats been warmed up a bit? i usually trick yuki into eating her kibble by mixing in chopped meat or eggs.

  18. BD, please eat your chow. It is important for you to gain weight and for your mom to be able to help cure your skin. Plus she loves you so and worries...give her a break!

  22. Wow, you ARE busy! Thank you for doing all that you do. We are so thankful for you! Paws crossed that BD starts eating better SOON.

We also wanted to thank you for wishing Mom Tracey a happy birthday! Sad to say we didn’t have much of a turnout at the senior cat Sunday event. But this was the first time PAWS tried it, and they are going to keep on trying, because we just KNOW there are loving homes out there for these awesome older cats. :)

    Hugs to you!

  24. Oh good thoughts and purrs coming your way, sounds like a crazy hectic time for sure! We also hope BD will eat the food. (With regards to your comment, the kitties do prefer the peacock feathers to the ostrich. Clooney especially loves peacock feathers!)
