Mischief Monday: 139th to 144th Iloilo Kennel Club, Inc. All Breed Championship Dog Show

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT: Please inform me if you have problems getting into our bloggy. I've been experiencing slow loading time which I've hopefully fixed.

You must be wondering why this post is featured in Mischief Monday. The 139th to 144th Iloilo Kennel Club, Inc. All Breed Championship Dog Show was a breath of fresh air. Sure, some dogs may have left tons of peemail and carpet potties but that's typical, right?

No Mischief Here... YET!
So I took a whole lot of pictures featuring the different breeds. I even checked them out in my ancient self-repaired camera (knowing that the camera can go bonkers at times) and their thumbnails were perfect... but then I copy them into my laptop and this is how they turned out.

Aside from the fact that it's a tad blurry, I will say that this is one of the best pictures there is.
Note: Kindly bear with the following pictures. I did my best.

Dogs and Handlers Strutting Hand and Leash in the 139th to 144th IKC, Inc. All Breed Championship Dog Show last July 7, 2012

It's nice that the Dobermans are friendly. With our average heights, their heads are above our waist level.
Some of the handlers allow their dogs to be petted. And they were nice enough to ignore me while my camera was flashing all over the place.

Super reflective eyes: Whose was better? The Shih-tzus or the Dobermans?
Now I tried taking some action shots. I was lucky to get some of them but then it turns out with a hue of... green! See the original picture above.

Handler and Shih Tzu puppy strutting their stuff against the Beagle and the American Cocker Spaniel
I'm so getting corrected with my dog show lingo.

Couch Potato Peeling Mode! He should join the Blogville Olympics.
This little guy is too bored (or too lazy) to move. The photo above used to be PINK.

The lone entry for the Basenji in... GREEN!
I was so happy seeing the thumbnail of this picture. Unfortunately, this is how it came out. I also wanted to capture this little guy doing his twirling potty dance, but they were either to blurry or too GREEN.

So what do you think? I hope you liked this post as the pretty American Cocker Spaniel feels otherwise.

Your camera sucks. It doesn't deserve to take a pretty picture of me.

  6. Hey Haopee,

So sorry your camera is up to Mischief - I know my Mum gets all frustrated too when the pictures don't turn out how she hoped - she wants a camera that can cope with action, not that I'm always running (though I am a lot) - I nearly always move at the last second and then the shot is blurry - Tee Hee

Luckily we don't get the color enhancements you got though….

Thanks for sharing your fun day out,

    Your pal Snoopy :)

  7. What good fun at the dog show. Mum is determined we never go to one - it would turn into a riot once the 3 of us started barking our heads off, LOL.

  8. It's funny what cameras will do with less-than-optimal lighting, isn't it? Regardless, we really enjoyed the photos you took at the dog show! :)

  9. Look at it as a photoshop learning curve!! LOL. I think I should threaten Austin with a dog show. That’ll make him buck his ideas up!!! Sorry about the camera though :( xox
